The Ezy-Glide SideKick® (SK-2500) Hydraulic Stick Steering System

ABOUT THE SIDEKICK®

The SideKick® (SK-2500) by Ezy-Glide features a small, sleek, 6-spoke Captain’s style Wheel with front pivot knob designed for compact side mount. Our 2500 series Hydraulic Steering Systems offer the same convenient, up-front steering style as traditional mechanical stick-steering systems—but with modern advantages of reduced steering effort, no feedback, and quicker response time.

Each system has a manufacturer’s recommended maximum horsepower rating of 90 HP outboard or 110 HP jet drive. With just 2.8 total rotations from lock-to-lock, operators only need to turn the wheel or lever 1.4 turns to go from straight ahead to a full left or full right turn. This allows for precise control with minimal effort.

Our hydraulic systems may be installed on the port side, starboard side, or even center console, depending on your boat's layout. Every system includes a detailed installation manual to guide you through the process.
